
Grace A. Nielsen was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and a Minor in Psychology. Ms. Nielsen received her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law and was admitted to the California Bar in November 2024.
During law school, Ms. Nielsen served as a Secretary for the Public Interest Law Foundation and was Vice President of the Pro Bono Legal Advocates. Additionally, she competed as a member of the USD School of Law Mock Trial Team.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Nielsen gained valuable experience working as a law clerk for the Honorable Joel R. Wohlfeil and externing in the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office. She then began working at WPCH as a law clerk until she was admitted to the bar.
Ms. Nielsen currently represent clients in personal injury and employment litigation. A large percentage of her practice involves defending public entity school districts and community colleges. She maintains membership in professional organizations including the North County Bar Association and San Diego Defense Lawyers.
